Hello everyone! Hope you had a great Easter! I am sorry for the slow response as I have been very busy in addition to being out of town of late.

I have had many requests for information about the club and places to ride, so I will try and respond collectively.

Carolina Trail Dawgs (notice the new spelling) is a new club in the Charlotte area and we are learning as we go along. That said, we have yet to set a club dues or publish official by-laws.. This is not a bad thing, especially for all of you have taken the time to inquire about the club and who have expressed interest in joining. Aaron and I have decided to declare April as Club Joining fee free month and, have decided to ask all of you who decide to Join what you think the dues should be and the frequency of payment. So, if you would like to join, please respond accordingly and give us your input. We will gather your information and go with the Majority vote. After all the Carolina Trail Dawgs belongs to all of us and we want everyone to have a voice in such matters.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be a Meeting of the "Carolina Trail Dawgs ATV Club on April 21, 2004 7 pm, at the Prime Steak House located at I-85 and Billy Graham (Next to the Hampton Inn) in Charlotte, NC. Please notify me ASAP if you will be able to attend.

We will plan upcoming rides and events at this meeting as well as elect a Secretary treasurer and Club activities coordinator. We are also in need of a good graphics designer to create a club logo for hats, patches and t-shirts. As well as someone gifted in the website design area. WE NEED YOU! See you at the meeting!

Now as for places to ride.

There are several great places to ride right here in the Carolinas. Please note the following links I have provided and enjoy. The links will take you to some great articles packed with information.

Welcome to the first post for the Carolina Trail Dogs ATV Club. We are a Christian based club that loves to ride with people who do not feel the need to drink, cuss, or act in a crude and non family value manner. If you are looking for a club that will be exciting and active, JOIN US for our upcoming ride this Sunday March, 28 2004 at Brown Mountain, just out side of Morganton, NC. This will be our first Club ride of the season and our first ride at Brown Mountain.

We will meet in the parking lot of McDonalds on Hwy 18 South, in Morganton, NC at 9am. Brown Mountain is about a 30 minute ride from there. If you would like further infomation about Brown Mountain you can find it on the internet by searching "places to ride in NC or NC National parks.

We will be posting dates and locations of rides in the near future, along with pics of previous rides.

In the meantime if you have questions, my email address is cliffmaynard@hotmail.com
